Featured Speaker

Photo of Beth TedrowBeth Tedrow, M.S., is a Garden City, Kansas, native who has spent much of her life giving back to the community through the education sector.

A graduate of Garden City Community College, Tedrow spent 47 years working in various positions at the college level before retiring in 2009. From mathematics instructor, to dean of women, to counselor and recruitment coordinator, to director of admissions/counselor, and finally dean of student services, she wore many hats for Garden City Community College, and her focus remained on student success.

In 2004, in recognition of all she had done for decades of students at the college, a newly constructed building was named in her honor: the Beth G. Tedrow Student Center. Tedrow has also served in many professional organizations across Kansas and in multiple local organizations. She continues to support and guide the college by serving on its board of trustees.

Beth Tedrow remains committed to the success of Garden City Community College and is a true representation of a proud Broncbuster alumni.
